Caitlin Grootwassink has been coaching at Glenwood since the 2021-2022 school year. She was hired as the girls head track and field coach. Prior to coaching at Glenwood, she  was an assistant coach for cross country running, Nordic Skiing, and track and field at Minnetonka High School in Minnesota. While coaching in Minnesota, she had several individual athletes advance to state in all three sports. Minnetonka girls won the state team title in track and field in 2018 as well as the 4x200, 4x400, and 4x800 and the 4x200 and 4x800 again in 2019. She has also coached youth sailing and had athletes compete at the national level, several of whom have transitioned to collegiate sailing. Grootwassink is also a 3rd grade teacher at Ball Elementary School.
