Casey Reid
Coach Reid will enter his second season as JV Coach of the Titans in 2022-23. Coach Reid guided the JV team to a 22-5 record during the 21-22 season. In addition to being the JV Coach, Reid was a valuable asset as a Varsity assistant coach. Coach Reid's calm, cerebral approach to the game makes him an excellent leader and in game coach. Coach Kirkpatrick describes Coach Reid as being a great skill development coach, who has done a great job working with the forwards. Coach also says Reid's ability to scout and assist in the development of game plans was a large part the Varsity teams 21 wins and run to the sectional title game.
Before serving as a high school coach, Reid previously served as a coach on the Glenwood Middle School girls staff, as well as coaching travel teams at the boys and girls youth levels.
Coach Reid graduated from Las Vegas High School (NV) where he earned all state basketball honors. After High School, Coach Reid played basketball and earned an associates degree from Scottsdale Community College (Scottsdale, AZ). As a sophomore at SCC, Reid earned Junior College All American honors, while averaging 22 points and 12 rebounds per game. Reid then moved on to play at Illinois State University, where he appeared in 54 contests for the Redbirds. Reid earned his degree in Information Systems while at Illinois State.
Coach Reid and his wife, Jessica, have three children in the Chatham Glenwood district: Haley (15), Cohen (13), and Blakely (9).
