Marne Fauser

Marne Fauser will be in her fifth season as head girls varsity basketball coach at Glenwood High School in the 2021-22 season.  It will be her fifth year coaching high school and 22nd year in coaching.  As a high school head coach, 2017-18 team was 23-9 and won a Regional Championship,  three players being named to first team All Conference with others receiving honorable mention.  Coach Fauser has coached three players that have transitioned to playing college basketball. One of those players being Glenwood's all time leading scorer in girls and boys basketball.

Prior to becoming a head coach at Glenwoood, Fauser has coached youth basketball and volleyball with her two children as well as middle school volleyball and basketball and basketball at UIS, Bradley University and Truman State University. Coach Fauser graduated from Limestone High School near Peoria. After High School, Fauser played basketball and earned an associates degree from Illinois Central College (East Peoria, IL). Then, moved on to NCAA Division II Truman State University (Kirksville, MO). Fauser earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology while at Truman State University and holds a 6-12 teaching certificate in Illinois from Bradley University/Greenville College.
